About the product
Saga is a simple and timeless children's bed in Scandinavian design, created for both peace and play. The characteristic beech frame creates a safe and inviting space where the child can create their own little den – a place for immersion, imagination, and rest.
The beech frame can be decorated with string lights or our soft cotton canopy, giving the bed a light and playful expression that naturally fits into the Nordic child's room. A bed that makes room for the child's own world.
Saga is part of Manis-h's flexible modular system and can be adapted as the child grows. The bed can be combined with accessories and integrated into various solutions – always with the same calm expression and thoughtful function.
The bed is available in a selection of beautiful colours and can be chosen with beech legs, which add warmth and a natural Nordic touch. All Manis-h beds are produced in accordance with European requirements and standards for quality and safety.
Please note, the bed rail and light decoration on the beech frame are not included and can be purchased separately.
Design your own Saga bed in our configurator and create a personalized solution that suits your child's everyday life – now and for many years to come.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
