Low bed inspired by Montessori – designed for security, freedom, and many years of use in the children's room

Give your child a secure start with a low floor bed inspired by the Montessori philosophy. The bed is designed at a child-friendly height, allowing the child to climb in and out of bed independently – at their own pace. This fosters independence, motor skills, and a sense of freedom in everyday life.

The low Montessori bed creates a calm and secure sleeping environment where the child can develop naturally and safely.

The bed is designed as a flexible solution that can be adapted to the child's needs for several years. This bed has a small junior bed rail at the front. The bed rail can be positioned as desired, i.e., on the right side of the junior bed or on the left side, or perhaps in the middle if two entrances are desired.

The safety rail is available in white and has a length of 120cm.

You can also choose the bed:

• without a front safety rail
• with a stylish slatted safety rail
• with a closed front bed rail

The bed rail can, of course, be removed, leaving you with a nice open children's bed.

As the child grows, the bed can easily be extended. The legs can be replaced, so the floor bed can later be transformed into:

• mid-high bed
• bunk bed
• classic single bed / children's bed

In addition, there is the possibility for:

• storage drawers under the bed
• pull-out bed for guests and extra sleeping space for overnight stays

This makes the bed a long-term solution that follows the child's development – from the first years and far into childhood.

Please note, this is the Huxie system - and this model CANNOT be used as a lower bunk for your bunk bed! You can purchase extra legs for this bed, so it becomes part of the Huxie system and can be rebuilt and extended into a higher bed, a regular children's bed, a mid-high bed, and even a bunk bed

With its simple and functional Danish design, the bed fits into children's rooms, teenagers' rooms, and guest rooms – and it can easily be combined with a mattress of your choice.

Safety without compromise – your child's sleep is not the place to skimp

All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Baby cots: EN 716 (European standard for safety in baby cots).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the current European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.

Important for you:

- Pay attention to the mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we note this clearly so that your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with water-based, harmless varnish.
- All distances and openings follow the regulations to avoid choking and crushing hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday life – including bedtime stories with mom or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
