Give your child a safe start with a low floor bed inspired by the Montessori philosophy. The bed is designed at child height, so the child can crawl in and out of bed themselves – entirely at their own pace. This strengthens independence, motor skills, and a sense of freedom in everyday life.

The low Montessori bed creates a calm and safe sleeping environment where the child can develop naturally and securely.

The bed is developed as a flexible solution that can be adapted to the child's needs for several years. This bed has a nice solid safety rail, which provides calm and security for a pleasant sleeping environment for junior when leaving the baby cot. The bed rail is available in white, but can naturally also be chosen in one of our beautiful colors.

You can also choose the bed:

• without a front safety rail
• with a stylish design spindle safety rail
• with a simple and practical safety rail that can be placed on the front as desired

The bed rail can naturally be removed, giving you a nice open children's bed.

As the child grows, the bed can easily be extended. The legs can be replaced, so the floor bed can later be converted into:

• mid-sleeper bed
• bunk bed
• classic single bed / children's bed

In addition, there is the possibility of:

• storage drawers under the bed
• trundle bed for guests and extra sleeping space for sleepovers

This makes the bed a long-term solution that follows the child's development – from the early years and well into childhood.

Please note, this is the Huxie system - and this model CANNOT be used as a lower bunk for your bunk bed! You can purchase extra legs for this bed, so it becomes part of the Huxie system and can be modified and extended into a higher bed, a standard children's bed, a mid-sleeper bed, and even a bunk bed

With its simple and functional Danish design, the bed fits into the children's room, teenager's room, and guest room – and it can easily be combined with a mattress of your choice.

Safety without compromise – your child's sleep is not the place to skimp

All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Baby cots: EN 716 (European standard for safety in baby cots).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the current European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.

Important for you:

- Pay attention to the mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we note this clearly so that your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with water-based, harmless varnish.
- All distances and openings follow the regulations to avoid choking and crushing hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday life – including bedtime stories with mom or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
