About the product
Dea is a semi-high children's bed in Scandinavian design, created for both calm and play. Its simple look provides a reassuring setting for your child's sleep, while the board invites creativity, drawing and little everyday messages.
There is space under the bed for play, storage or a cosy den. With a play curtain, the area can easily be transformed into a screened-off space where the child can play, immerse themselves and find calm.
Dea is available in a selection of beautiful colours and can be chosen with beech legs, adding warmth and a natural Nordic look. Colours and details can be mixed freely, so the bed suits both the child's personality and the home's style.
Dea is part of Manis-h’s flexible building system and can be adapted as the child grows. The bed can be incorporated into new solutions and combined with accessories – always with the same calm design and well-considered function.
Design your own Dea bed in our configurator and create a personal solution that suits your child's everyday life – now and for many years to come.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
