Huxie white children's bed with slat base, Afros

Afros Single Bed 70x160 cm or 90x200 cm – clean and flexible bed for children

With the Afros single bed in 70x160 cm or 90x200 cm, you get a simple and modern bed that fits perfectly into any children’s room. The bed is based on the same well-thought-out design as the Amon model, but comes without a bed rail, giving it a more open and minimalist look.

The Afros single bed is ideal for children who no longer need a safety rail but still require a secure and comfortable place to sleep. Its clean design makes it easy to create a stylish and functional space.

Simple and timeless design for the children’s room

The bed is finished in classic white, making it easy to match with a wide range of interior styles, colors, and textiles. Its minimalist look allows you to personalize the room while keeping a calm and cohesive aesthetic.

Afros is the perfect choice if you are looking for a bed that combines practicality with a modern, uncluttered design.

Flexible solution with storage options

You can add practical underbed drawers to maximize storage space for toys, clothes, or bedding. This helps keep the room tidy while making the most of the available space.

The bed is also part of a flexible system designed with functionality and durability in mind, allowing it to adapt to your child’s needs over time.

A well-designed bed system

The Afros single bed is part of a closed bed system, meaning it is not compatible with accessories from other series. However, mattresses, textiles, and storage drawers within the same system are designed to fit perfectly, ensuring a cohesive and reliable solution.

With the Afros single bed, you get a stylish, practical, and flexible children’s bed – ideal for those who value quality, simplicity, and smart functionality.

Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners

All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cots: EN 716 (European safety standard for cots).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces etc. in accordance with applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.

Important for you:

- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed guard rail/side – we mark it clearly, so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with regulations to avoid the risk of strangulation and entrapment.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.

Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.

If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.

Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
