About the product
Fenris is a functional and timeless high bed in Scandinavian design, created to make use of the space in a child’s room in a calm and well-thought-out way. With ample clearance beneath the bed, a flexible area is created with room for play, concentration and relaxation.
A sofa module is integrated beneath the bed, creating a cosy seating area for reading, play or spending time together. A natural gathering point in the room that gives the child their own little space – without taking up more room.
Fenris is constructed in an extra-strong quality that ensures stability and security in everyday life. The bed stands solidly on its own, requires no wall mounting and is of course tested and approved according to applicable safety standards.
Fenris is part of Manis-h’s flexible modular system and can always be adapted when needs change. The bed can be made lower or placed directly on the floor, and if a gentler start is desired, a semi-high bed can later be converted into a high bed.
A long-lasting solution that grows with the child and provides room for life, play and calm in the child’s room.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
