About the product
Maia is an extra-high bunk bed in Scandinavian design, created for children’s rooms where more space, calm and roominess are desired. The high construction provides good distance between the two bunks and creates a light and harmonious look that fits naturally into the home.
There is plenty of room beneath the bed to add drawers or a pull-out bed, providing extra storage or a flexible sleeping space for overnight guests. A practical solution that makes everyday life easier without taking up more space in the room.
Maia is part of Manis-h’s flexible modular system and can be adapted as the child’s needs change. The bed can be converted from a bunk bed into a high bed or divided into two separate single beds – one bed with many possibilities and a long lifespan.
The bed is available in a selection of beautiful colours that can be freely mixed, so the look suits both the child’s world and the home’s style. A well-considered and sustainable solution that can accompany the family for many years.
Design your own Maia bed in our configurator and create a flexible solution that provides space for togetherness, function and calm – now and for many years to come.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
