About the product
Mimer is a low and secure children’s bed, created as your child’s first real bed. The calm, Scandinavian design provides space for both rest and play, creating a safe setting for the transition from a baby crib to a larger bed. The solid slatted base ensures excellent comfort – night after night.
Spacious drawers are hidden beneath the bed, featuring soft handles that are easy for small hands to use. There is room for toys, bedding, and all the little things that are part of childhood – helping to keep the room calm, tidy, and organised.
Mimer is part of Manis-h’s flexible modular system and can be adapted as your child grows. The bed can be extended with a safety rail and later converted into a mid-sleeper, high sleeper, bunk bed, or other solutions – always maintaining the same calm design and well-thought-out functionality.
The bed is available in a range of beautiful colours that can be freely mixed and matched. The iconic beech legs give the bed a warm and light appearance, while the colours add personality and softness to the children’s room.
Design your own Mimer bed in our configurator and create a solution that fits your child’s everyday life – now and for many years to come.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
