About the product
The Tor children's bed is made in Denmark and combines solid quality with classic Danish design. A simple and timeless children's bed that serves as a safe start in the children's room and fits naturally into the home.
The bed is supplied with a slatted bed base and bed frame and is made of solid beechwood and MDF. The soft, rounded edges create a light and friendly look and emphasise the bed's well-considered construction, made to last for many years.
Tor is part of Manis-h’s flexible building system and can be adapted when the child's needs change. The bed can be extended with additional accessories and is also available in widths of 120 and 140 cm. If you start with a 90 cm bed, it can later be extended into a wider model.
The bed is available with beech legs and in a selection of many beautiful colours, making it easy to create a personal and harmonious children's room.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not the place to cut corners
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements at the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cots: EN 716 (European safety standard for cots).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly, so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with water-based, harmless lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with regulations to avoid the risk of suffocation and entrapment.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and regularly retighten screws/bolts.
Do you need documentation? Write to us, and we will be happy to send you copies of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the documented safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – it is our and your responsibility.
