ASK – A Mid Sleeper Children’s Bed in Scandinavian Design
ASK is a mid sleeper children’s bed in timeless Scandinavian design, created to support both safe sleep and everyday play. The high, protective safety rails provide a secure sleeping environment, while the calm and minimalist look fits naturally into any modern children’s room.
The space underneath the bed offers room for play, storage, or a cosy retreat. It’s ideal for cushions, blankets, and imagination — a small personal haven where your child can play, relax, and unwind.
ASK is available in multiple lengths, and the ladder can be mounted on either the left or right side, making it easy to adapt the bed to your room layout. As part of the Manis-h flexible bed system, ASK can later be converted into a high sleeper, bunk bed, single bed with pull-out bed, or other configurations — all while maintaining the same harmonious design and well-thought-out functionality.
The bed can be customised with different safety rail designs and a selection of beautiful colours that can be freely mixed. This allows you to create a personalised children’s bed that reflects both your child’s personality and your home’s interior style.

Safety & Requirements
Safety without compromise – your child's sleep is not the place to skimp
All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Baby cots: EN 716 (European standard for safety in baby cots).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the current European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.
Important for you:
- Pay attention to the mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we note this clearly so that your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with water-based, harmless varnish.
- All distances and openings follow the regulations to avoid choking and crushing hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday life – including bedtime stories with mom or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
Do you need documentation? Write to us and we will be happy to send you a copy of the applicable test certificates.
If in doubt, always choose the proven safe solution.
Children cannot check standards themselves – that is our and your responsibility.
