Give your child a secure start with a low floor bed inspired by the Montessori philosophy. The bed is designed at child height, allowing the child to climb in and out of bed independently – entirely at their own pace. This supports independence, motor skills and a sense of freedom in everyday life.

The low Montessori bed creates a calm and secure sleeping environment where the child can develop naturally and safely.

The bed is developed as a flexible solution that can be adapted to the child’s needs over several years. This bed has a lovely closed bed guard rail, providing calm and security for a pleasant sleeping environment for juniors when leaving the cot. The bed guard rail is available in white, but can of course also be chosen in one of our beautiful colours.

You can also choose the bed:

• without a front bed guard rail
• with a stylish design slatted bed guard rail
• with a simple and practical bed guard rail that can be placed on the front as desired

The bed guard rail can of course be removed, giving you a lovely open children’s bed.

When the child gets older, the bed can easily be extended. The legs can be replaced, allowing the floor bed to later be converted into:

• semi-high bed
• bunk bed
• classic single bed / children’s bed

In addition, there is the option of:

• storage drawers under the bed
• pull-out bed for guests and extra sleeping space for sleepovers

This makes the bed a long-term solution that follows the child’s development – from the early years well into childhood.

Please note, this is the Huxie system - and this model CANNOT be used as a lower bunk for your bunk bed! You can purchase extra legs for this bed, making it part of the Huxie system and allowing it to be converted and extended into a higher bed, a regular children’s bed, a semi-high bed and even a bunk bed

With its simple and functional Danish design, the bed fits in both the children’s room, teenager’s room and guest room – and it can easily be combined with a mattress of your choice.

Safety without compromise – your child’s sleep is not where to cut corners

All our beds are tested and approved according to European requirements by the Danish Technological Institute:
- Cot beds: EN 716 (European standard for safety in cot beds).
- High and bunk beds: EN 747 (openings, distances, stability, etc.).
- Changing tables: Tested for stability, surfaces, etc. according to the applicable European safety standard EN 12221
- Textiles & mattresses: OEKO-TEX® – tested for harmful chemicals.

Important for you:

- Pay attention to mattress height in relation to the bed rail/side – we mark it clearly so your child always sleeps safely.
- The surface is painted with harmless, water-based lacquer.
- All distances and openings comply with the rules to prevent strangulation and entrapment hazards.
- The bed is tested for everyday use – including bedtime stories with mum or dad.
- Always read the instructions carefully and retighten screws/bolts regularly.
